# How can I trigger offers based on specific conditions?

### Overview

**UpsellPlus** allows you to set rules and conditions within the **Targeting** section to control when an upsell should appear. You can find the **Targeting** section at the top of each upsell offer.


###### Step-by-Step Guide

1. Log in to **Shopify Admin**

2. Open the **UpsellPlus** App
* Go to **Apps** in the left-hand menu
* Click **UpsellPlus** from the list of installed apps

3. Create or edit an upsell offer

4. Head to the **Targeting** section

5. Add the **Rules** you want
* Click on '**Add Targeting Rule**'
* Select the rules you'd like to set up.

6. Click **Save**.


### You can set Rules and Conditions based on:

* **Cart Contents**: Cart Products, Collections, Cart Variants, Product Tags, Cart Attributes, Subscription Products
* **Cart Value & Quantity**: Cart Value, Collection Cart Value, Cart Product Quantity
* **Trigger (PDP)**: Trigger Products (PDP only), Trigger Collections (PDP only)
* **Audience**: Markets, Customer Tags, Klaviyo Segment, Customer Language, Device Type, B2B/Wholesale, Customer Province / State
* **Context**: Date & Time Scheduling, Discount Codes


You can add as many **Rules** as you want and combine them using the **AND** condition. To use an **OR** condition, create a new offer with different conditions.
