# How to add a quantity selector (Line Item Actions) to the checkout


### Overview

Adding a quantity selector and line item actions (like removing products) in the checkout enhances user convenience and boosts customer satisfaction. This guide explains how to set up these features in UpsellPlus.

###### Step-by-Step Guide

If a customer is in your checkout, we want to avoid them having to go back to the cart page to make changes to their cart.

To add a 'remove' button or +/- to your upsells that were added to cart:

1. Log in to **Shopify Admin**

3. Open the UpsellPlus App
* Go to **Apps** in the lefthand menu
* Click **UpsellPlus** from the list of installed apps

4. Access the Checkout Editor
* In your dashboard, go to **Settings** > **Go to checkout editor**

6. Click ** Add app block**

5. Click **Line Item Actions**

6. Save the checkout profile - done!

Now customers can adjust the quantity of line items in the cart when they're in checkout.

You can choose to show a 'remove' button instead of the plus/minus signs:

If you want to only offer the line item actions for products added as an upsell, you can toggle that setting in the checkout editor sidebar:
