# How to add links and markdown in text customizations?


### Overview
Enhancing your UpsellPlus customizations with formatted text, links, and bullet points can significantly improve user engagement and the overall aesthetic of your checkout process. UpsellPlus supports Markdown, a lightweight markup language that allows you to format text easily.

###### Step-by-Step Guide

1. **Log in to Shopify Admin**
* Access your Shopify Admin panel using your credentials.

2. **Access UpsellPlus Dashboard**
* From your Shopify Admin, navigate to **Apps**.
* Select **UpsellPlus** to open the dashboard.

3. **Navigate to Customizations**
* In the UpsellPlus dashboard, click on **Customizations**.
* Choose the customization you wish to edit or create a new one.

4. **Edit Text Fields Using Markdown**
* Within the customization editor, locate the text field where you want to add formatted text.
* Use **Markdown syntax** to format your text:

###### Adding Links
Format: `[Link Text](URL)`   
Example: `[Visit Our Store](https://www.yourstore.com)`

###### Creating Bullet Points
Start each line with a hyphen (-) followed by a space.

Example:
