# How to find your collaborator request code

Starting December 4th, Shopify requires that all stores provide their 4-digit Collaborator Request code to collaborators or app developers that want to access their stores. This was optional before. We want to help you succeed with UpsellPlus, and for that, we will probably need to access your online store to check, edit or create things on your behalf.
