# How to run an A/B test?

### Overview

You can now use Experiments to run A/B tests on upsell offers, helping you identify which options perform best, increase conversions, and maximize overall revenue.

###### Step-by-Step Guide

To create an A/B test, go to the UpsellPlus app. Create an Experiment.

1. Log in to **Shopify Admin**

2. Open the UpsellPlus App
* Go to **Apps** in the left-hand menu.
* Click **UpsellPlus** from the list of installed apps.

3. Create an **Experiment**
* Head to the **Experiments** tab.
* Click **Create Experiment**.

4. Setup the **Experiment**
* Select the offer you’d like to run the test on.
* Choose the Metrics you'd like to monitor within the Experiment.
* Click **Next**

5. Configure **Variants**
* Add a Variant to test. (you can add up to 4 variants)
* Select which fields you would like to test.
* Provide the value for each variant.
* Click **Next**

6. Setup **Traffic & Duration**
* Choose how to split traffic (Equal Split or Custom).
* Enter Baseline Conversion Rate, Minimum Detectable Effect, and Estimated Daily Traffic.
* Review the calculated sample size and estimated duration.
* Choose when to start (now or schedule).
* Click **Create & Start**
