# How to schedule checkout upsells for a specific date range


### Overview

UpsellPlus allows you to schedule upsell offers to be active only during a specific date range. This is useful for time-sensitive promotions, seasonal offers, or limited-time discounts.

###### Step-by-Step Guide

To schedule a checkout upsell for the future to start running at a specific date and time:

1. Log in to **Shopify Admin**

2. Open the UpsellPlus App
* Go to **Apps** in the left-hand menu
* Click **UpsellPlus** from the list of installed apps

3. Create or Edit an Upsell Offer

4. Head to the Targeting section.

* Navigate to Add Targeting Rule 
* Click on Date & Time Scheduling
* Choose the Timezone.
* Select the start date & time and the end date & time. 
* Click on the "**Done**" button inside the scheduler modal
* Ensure the offer is active only within this period

6. **Save**
