# How to set up a Cart Page upsell?


### Overview
Implementing a Cart Page Upsell allows you to present additional products to customers directly on the cart page, encouraging them to add more items before proceeding to checkout. This strategy can effectively increase your store's Average Order Value (AOV). UpsellPlus offers a straightforward method to set up such upsell offers.

With UpsellPlus you can add three kinds of Cart upsells: Cart Page upsell, Cart Drawer upsell, Cart Popup upsell.

This is a guide on how to set up a Cart Page upsell. 

**Step-by-Step Guide**

1. **Access the UpsellPlus App**
* Log in to your Shopify Admin panel.
* Navigate to the **UpsellPlus** app.
        
2. **Create a New Cart Page Offer**
* Click on **Create offer** within the UpsellPlus dashboard.
* Select **Cart Page Offer**, then choose **Cart Page Upsell**.

3. **Product Upsell Configuration Options**
* **Manual Selection**: Manually add one or more products you wish to upsell.
* **ShopBrain Feature**: Utilize the ShopBrain feature to automatically suggest products based on customer behavior and preferences.

4. **Save and Publish the Offer**
* After configuring your upsell products, click **Save and Publish** to activate the offer.

5. **Integrate the Upsell into Your Theme**
* Click on **Go to theme editor** to place the Cart Upsell extension on your Cart Page.
* In the theme editor, locate the **Apps** section within your Cart Page layout.
* Add the UpsellPlus block to this section.

6. **Preview and Save Changes**
* Use the theme editor's preview function to ensure the upsell appears as intended on the Cart Page.
* Once satisfied, save the changes to make the upsell live on your store.

###### Considerations and Limitations
* **Autopilot Feature**: The Autopilot feature is not available for Cart Page Upsells.
