# How to show upsell offers in Shopify POS (UpsellPlus at the Register)

**UpsellPlus can suggest upsells to your store staff in Shopify POS.** A tile on the POS home screen checks the current cart for matching offers. Staff tap it to see the offer and add the product to the sale in one tap. Offers use the same targeting as online, and you can limit them to specific store locations.

- **Where:** open an offer → **Funnel** tab → **POS** → **POS (Point of Sale)**
- **Requires:** the **Point of Sale** sales channel installed in Shopify
- **In POS:** the **UpsellPlus** tile on the home screen

## Set up a POS offer

1. Go to **Offers → Create Offer**.
2. On the **Funnel** tab, choose **POS**, then **POS (Point of Sale)**.
3. On the **Offers** tab, choose the products and an optional discount.
4. On the **Targeting** tab, add rules like **Cart Products** or **Cart Value**. To show the offer only in some stores, add **Retail Locations (POS)**.
5. Save and turn the offer on.

## Add the tile in Shopify POS

In the Shopify POS app, add the **UpsellPlus** tile to your home screen. The tile shows:

- **Checking for offers…** while it looks at the cart
- **View offers** when an offer matches the current cart
- **No offers right now** when nothing matches

## How staff use it

1. Add the customer's items to the cart as usual.
2. When the tile says **View offers**, tap it.
3. The offer shows the product, price and offer text. If there's a discount, it says the discount is applied at checkout.
4. Tap to add it. POS confirms **Added to cart**.

## FAQ

**Do I need Shopify POS Pro?**
You need the Point of Sale sales channel installed. If it isn't, the offer editor shows a warning and the offer won't appear.

**Can I show different offers in different stores?**
Yes. Use the **Retail Locations (POS)** targeting rule.

**Can one offer show both online and in POS?**
POS is its own stage. Create a separate offer for POS if you also want it online.
