# Where can UpsellPlus offers appear? All placements explained

**UpsellPlus can show offers at every step of the shopping journey**, from the product page to after the order is placed, and even in Shopify POS. One offer can appear in several places at once, except one-click post-purchase offers, which are always their own offer.

- **Where:** open an offer → **Funnel** tab → **Where should this offer appear?**
- **Shopify Plus only:** checkout placements
- **Every placement needs** the UpsellPlus app block or extension added in Shopify's theme or checkout editor

## Add the app block for each placement

After choosing a placement, the offer editor shows a **Place your app block** banner if the block isn't installed yet:

- **Product, cart and storefront pages:** click **Open Shopify theme editor** and add the UpsellPlus block or app embed.
- **Checkout, Thank You page:** click **Open Shopify checkout editor** and add the UpsellPlus block.
- **Order Status page:** click **Open checkout & accounts editor** and select the Order Status page from the page menu.
- **Post Purchase:** select UpsellPlus as your post-purchase app in Shopify.

Use **Refresh** to re-check the status. Home also warns you when a step's offers are on but the block isn't installed (**Not showing**).

## Rules to know

- **Checkout placements need Shopify Plus**, because they use Shopify's checkout extensibility.
- **POS offers need the Point of Sale sales channel** installed.
- **One-click Post Purchase offers can't be combined with other stages**, and can't be moved to another stage after they're created. Duplicate the offer to target a different stage.
- **Placements can't be changed while an A/B test is running** on the offer.

## Which placement should I start with?

- **Highest reach, any plan:** Cart Drawer and Product Page
- **Highest acceptance after payment:** Post Purchase
- **Shopify Plus stores:** Checkout, for last-minute add-ons
- **Extra revenue after the order:** Thank You & Order Status, including Earn
