What can I A/B test?
Overview
With our Experiments feature, you can easily run A/B tests on different elements of your upsell offers, such as banner text, call-to-action, layout, or product selection, to identify the best-performing combinations for your customers, helping you optimize your upsell strategy, increase conversions, and maximize revenue.
What Can You A/B Test?
Below are the key elements of your upsell offers that you can customize and test to determine which performs best:

- Banner Text
- Customize the text shown in the banner. Test different messages to see which one performs best.

- Call to Action (CTA)
- Customize the CTA text (e.g., “Buy Now” or “Add to Cart”). Test variations to see which gets more clicks.

- Layout Customizations
- Image Position: choose where the image will be positioned (left, right, top, or bottom)
- Image Width: adjust the width of the image
- Aspect Ratio: set the image aspect ratio
- Button Position: choose where the button should appear (below content, bottom, side column)
- Price Position: set where the price will appear (below title, or above button)
- Multi-Product Layout: test horizontal vs. vertical layouts for showing multiple products

- CTA Styles
- Style: choose the style of the button (primary, plain, or secondary)
- Color: adjust the color of the CTA button (inherit, monochrome, or critical)
- Background Color: set the background color of the CTA button
- Text Color: set the text color of the CTA button
- Border: adjust border width, color, and radius to test different button styles

- Discount
- Test different discount amounts or types (percentage, or fixed amount) to see which is more effective in driving conversions.

- Products
- Select different product options, test which products or combinations of products perform best in the upsell offer.
