How to configure shipping and order discounts in Rewards?

Overview

The Rewards program now includes a Discounts tab, where you can choose whether order and shipping discounts are applied automatically or managed externally through Shopify Discounts or third-party apps.

Step-by-Step Guide

To configure shipping and order discounts in Rewards:

1. Log in to Shopify Admin

2. Open the UpsellPlus App

• Go to Apps in the left-hand menu
• Click UpsellPlus from the list of installed apps

3. Navigate to the Rewards tab

4. Create or edit a Reward Program

5. Click on the Discounts tab

You will see two main settings:

• Automatically apply order discounts
• Automatically apply shipping discounts

• If you want the rewards program to automatically apply percentage and fixed amount discounts to the cart total, enable Automatically apply order discounts.
• If you want the rewards program to automatically apply free shipping at checkout, enable Automatically apply shipping discounts.

• If you're handling discounts externally (for example, via custom discount codes or third-party apps) and want to display only rewards, disable Automatically apply order discounts and/or Automatically apply shipping discounts.

6. Click Save
