Does UpsellPlus work with Draft Orders checkouts?

A Shopify draft order lets you create a custom order for a customer. This is useful when your team needs to apply special pricing, create manual orders, or process requests outside of the regular online store. The customer receives a unique checkout link to complete their purchase.

1. How Draft Order Checkout Works

• Draft orders are used for special cases like B2B sales, phone orders, or any time you need to customize what the customer will pay.
• The customer checks out by opening a special link that is different from the regular online checkout page.

2. Upsell Offers on Draft Order Checkout

• Upsell offers, such as product suggestions or cross-sell widgets, do not appear on draft order checkout pages for most Shopify stores.
• Even Shopify Plus stores using the latest app features may only see checkout customizations like banners or custom fields, not upsell widgets or product offers.
• This is due to Shopify’s platform settings for draft orders.
• On the regular checkout page, UpsellPlus shows upsells and customizations as expected.
