How to Decide Which Upsell Offer Shows First on Your Store


If you have several upsell offers set up, you can choose which one your customers see first by setting the priority number.


How Priority Works:


  1. The upsell offer with priority position #1 will be shown first.
  2. Priority only matters when:
  • You have two or more upsell offers of the same type (for example, all Cart, Checkout, or Post-purchase offers)
  • These offers have the same trigger conditions (for example, for the same product or customer action)
  1. If your upsell offers are:
  • Different types (e.g., one is a Cart offer, the other is Post-purchase), or
  • Have different conditions,

then priority won’t matter—all eligible offers will show if their conditions are met.


How to Change the Priority




Example:

If you set up two post-purchase offers for the same product with the same trigger, the one marked as position #1 will show first.
