Why is my upsell offer not showing?

Overview


There are a few common reasons why an upsell offer may not appear, depending on the type of upsell that is not showing.



Here are the most common causes:


Checkout upsell


  • The offer is not enabled or active in the app.
  • The display conditions are not met
  • The Checkout Upsell Block was not added to the checkout
  • The store is not on the Shopify Plus plan. (Checkout upsells are only available on Plus plans. This is a limitation imposed by Shopify and affects all apps)
  • Caching issue: test in an incognito/private window.



Cart Drawer upsell


  • The offer is not enabled or active in the app.
  • The display conditions are not met.
  • The Cart Drawer Widget is not enabled in the store theme.




Cart Page upsell


  • The offer is not enabled or active in the app.
  • The display conditions are not met
  • The UpsellPlus Cart Upsell block is not added to the Cart page.



Product Page upsell


  • The offer is not enabled or active in the app.
  • The display conditions are not met
  • The UpsellPlus PDP Upsell block is not added to the PDP



Post-Purchase upsell


  • The offer is not enabled or active in the app.
  • The display conditions are not met.
  • The UpsellPlus app is not enabled on the post-purchase page. Click here for more info
  • Payment Methods: not all payment methods will trigger the post-purchase page. Click here for more info
  • There are some additional reasons that may prevent the post-purchase offer from showing. Click here for more info
